What is it?
A weekend packed with fun and worship! There will be worship experiences throughout the weekend, as well as various activities around town. Students will stay in groups at the homes of church members.
Who is involved?
Matthew Wright will be our speaker. Chris & Caleb will be our worship leaders. And Liberty Link will lead the small groups!
When and Where?
March 23rd – 25th at North Main Baptist Church. Registration will be from 6-6:30 PM Friday night. Parents can pick up their students at 12 PM Sunday, after the 10:55 worship service.
How much?
$30 per student. Pretty cheap, I know!
What to bring?
- Clothes for the weekend
- Personal funk killers (deodorant, soap, toothbrush, assorted toiletries, etc.). Fellas, take it easy on the AXE Body Spray.
- Stuff for sleeping (sleeping bag, linens, pillow, etc.)
- Bible and a pen
- ONE SNACK AND ONE 2-LITER DRINK EACH!

The Christmas season is a ton of fun around North Main! But, the schedule gets a little wacky, especially when Christmas morning and New Years both fall on Sunday! If you get a little confused, be sure to check out the schedule for the church this holiday season BELOW.
Make sure to come out to the Broadcast Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 21st! Come during the normal Broadcast time (be there at 6:30 sharp for the food!). Don’t bring presents, just your parents and friends. We’re going to have a blast hanging out, partying, and worshiping Jesus together!
The date for the Turkey Bowl has changed to NOVEMBER 12th! This second-annual flag football tournament will be held at the Shields’ house from 2:30 – 8:00. Come out ready to play ball and let’s have a blast together! Dinner will be included. This event is FREE. Also, don’t forget that Pastor Appreciation Month is winding down. There is plenty of time left to surprise Pastor Fred and his family (or the other pastors) with a nice gift or token of your appreciation.
The theme for our Fall Retreat this year is “UNSTOPPABLE”. Barton Ramsey is going to walk us through Ephesians 1-2:10, showing us how we can become UNSTOPPABLE for God! Don’t miss this incredible weekend event. Here are the details:
Cost: $35 plus $10 for either horseback riding or paintball on Saturday. Please bring each amount separately. All meals are provided.
Where: The Master’s Inn in Atlavista, VA.
When: Meet at the Studio at NMBC at 5 PM Friday evening, September 30th. We will return for the 10:55 AM service at NMBC Sunday morning. You can pick up your student after church at 12:15.
Who: Students grades 6-12.
Remember: Be sure to bring a completed Medical Release Form with you or have your parent ready to complete one upon drop-off Friday night.
